Year-to-date, the number of closings in Davidson County increased 30% from May of last year. In Williamson County, closings increased by 20%.
Buyers paid more for their new homes too. In both counties, the average closing price is higher than for the same period last year.
The current inventory of properties is also shrinking. Less than six months of inventory is available in Williamson County and four to eleven months in Davidson County depending on the price.
