When Fliss decides to take the two of them on holiday to France, Shirl is initially reluctant as she promised to babysit her granddaughter. Not a problem, the remarkably well-behaved baby comes along! The holiday is huge success as the Breton town of Plouvannec-Sur-Mer is friendly, beautiful, and full of eligible single men. Fiction for sure!
