Table for Five by Izzy Bromley
When Abbie Finch is fired from her fabulous, if all consuming, job in Leeds, she realizes that her only confidant is her cat, Elvis. Bored and lonely Abbie visits her neighborhood café where she notices a table with a sign that says: Community Table- A Place To Sit And Make New Friends. Initially Abbie is too embarrassed to sit at the Community Table. Eventually she sidles over and, to her surprise, she makes new friends and reconnects with old ones.
Utterly predicable but charming.
