The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
After many years of contented singledom, methodical professor of genetics Dr. Don Tillman decides he needs a wife. But rather than depend on traditional match making methods, which he finds woefully imprecise, he designs The Wife Project. The Wife Project includes a comprehensive strategy to find prospective women and a detailed (and unintentionally hilarious) questionnaire by which to screen them.
To Tillman’s dismay, The Wife Project encounters some challenges not found in his usual research projects. While refining his system, he has an accidental encounter with a grad student named Rosie, who is NOT Wife Project material. But against his better judgment, Don is somehow embroiled in a project of Rosie’s!
Well, you know where this is going!
