Taste: My Life Through Food by Stanley Tucci

In this culinary memoir, Stanley Tucci’s life experiences, from his childhood in Westchester County, New York, to film sets around the world, are filtered through what was on the menu.

Family members and friends (mostly famous) make cameo appearances, notable locales are described, and tragedies tactfully mentioned, but the food is the main character in the book, almost but not quite, overpowering the charming Tucci.

Recipes (Italian) included!

 A delightful read.

WHAT OTHER REVIEWERS SAY

Yotam Ottolenghi, James Beard Award-winning chef: “Through food and scenes of family life, Stanley Tucci shares both his personal story and his celebration of all things taste. With tales from peanut butter sandwiches to lobster in Maine, with recipes for the perfect Negroni to his wife’s roast potatoes, he draws us to his table. Come hungry for the food, the cocktails, the gossip, and the fun.”
