Since Robin’s wedding to her longtime boyfriend, the relationship between the two partners is strained. But as owners of a busy, high-profile detective agency, Cormoran and Robin must put aside their personal feelings (for now) to work their cases.
When a mentally unstable man reports a murder, but is unable to provide even the most basic details such as date and location of the crime or the name of the victim, Cormoran is not deterred. The ensuing investigation leads the detecting duo to pubs, protest groups, Parliament, and the Past!
A suspenseful, character-rich read and happily less gory than Galbraith’s earlier novels.
