I do not read romance novels, but I made an exception for The Bookish Life of Nina Hill as (1) my niece recommended it (2) the heroine works in a bookstore (3) she has a cat named Phil. Winner!  It is charming and clever– Nora Ephron lite. I read it in one day.

A surprisingly large store with sections for various genres: Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance, Erotica, Teen Romance, Mystery Romance, Queer Romance, Fantasy/Paranormal Romance, Fantasy/Sci Fi Romance, Classic Romance (Pride & Prejudice).
